Airside Strategy head

The person will be responsible for driving the development and execution of the global airside strategy for Carrier. Carrier has a lower share in the airside segment as compared to other applied product segments. There is a need to develop a comprehensive Airside strategy and execute on it. This strategy will include elements of:

  • product requirements (which will need interaction with airside product platform specialists)
  • selling strategy (sales team structure, incentives, application engineering)
  • manufacturing footprint and sourcing (OEM) strategy (with the operations teams)
  • innovation in technology (like IAQ)
  • potential identification of BD/ partnership targets
  • regional nuances and regulations

Key interactions will be with regional Applied SPOCs, Product Platform teams, Sales Operations, Engineering/ operations teams BD and Finance.

Key deliverables:

Develop airside strategy by region to lay out customer segments, product requirement, sales strategy, manufacturing capability and requirements, sourcing requirements, BD opportunities, etc.

Consolidate strategy to identify global themes.

Establishment of metrics and tracking of same for implementation of strategy.

Identify targets for acquisitions/ partnership and work with BD to execute on this.


Preferably technical training


10 - 15 years

  1. Strong analytical and strategy skills
  2. Good understanding of Airside segment
  3. Good inter-personnel skills and ability to work in matrix structure/ cross functional teams at local, regional and global levels
  4. Excellent presentation & communication skills
